Mr. Ross’ decades of electrical and mechanical engineering and construction experience, combined with his core engineering discipline, make him invaluable as a Forensic Engineer. Mr. Ross professional background spans a wide range of investigative training and forensic engineering practice including, but not limited to, mechanical and electrical failures, accidents, fires, and explosions. Mr. Ross’ credentials and experience enable him to handle issues involving HVAC, electrical system design and installation, fire detection/suppression, sprinklers, plumbing systems, and incidents involving failure of vehicular components. Mr. Ross is also well-versed in losses related to the electric-mechanical appliance manufacturing industries, such as mechanical breakdown, electrical breakdown, and fires. His skills have been applied to property damage and personal injury cases, and investigative consultation in the industrial, commercial, and residential arenas. In addition to performing over 2,000 forensic investigations, Mr. Ross has owned and operated a successful and established MEP engineering design firm, providing engineering solutions for the commercial, multi-family and healthcare sectors.
Mr. Ross has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Florida, and holds affiliations with ASHRAE, NSPE, NAFI and NAFE. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Massachussetts. Mr. Ross is a Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator (CFEI) and a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator (CVFI) by the National Association of Fire Investigators; as well as holds a Diplomate in Forensic Engineering (DFE) awarded by the National Academy of Forensic Engineers. In addition, Mr. Ross is a U.S. Green Building Council Accredited Professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
